Whether you’re at the top of the charts or making beats at home, every musician needs a home base to showcase their creative work online.

A website provides fans and industry professionals with a way to listen to your projects, buy tickets and merch, and find contact details for bookings.

Templates make it super easy to get started. Simply choose one that fits your aesthetic best, sign up for a web builder or web hosting plan, and you’re ready to roll.

To help narrow down your search for the best music website templates, I’ve compiled a list of 14 of the top free and paid templates out there.

1. Albert Maroon (Moto CMS 3)

First up is Albert Maroon. This template has a playful feel thanks to its vibrant color scheme and fun animations.

The website banner features a customizable video that takes your eyes to the logo, at center stage.

Albert Maroon has a streaming platform and social media integrations, an album player, and a tracklist to showcase your entire discography.

With the different web pages available and a convenient back-to-top button, it all makes for a seamless browsing experience for site visitors.

If you want the full site as it is, it will set you back $479. However, for the absolute essentials, you can get it for $159, and an additional $65 for the eCommerce pack.

2. Don (Zyro)

Don Donno is captivating and includes everything you need to showcase your work.

This music producer website template greets visitors with a large image for maximum impact and space for your stage name.

As you scroll down, the template includes blocks to plug your latest projects, tickets for upcoming gigs, and an “About Me” section.

As you near the end of the page, there’s space for your contact details in case site visitors want to book you.

The blocks can be easily changed with Zyro’s drag-and-drop editor. And for higher conversions, use Zyro’s AI heatmap tool to strategically place those call-to-action buttons.

Before using this simple but effective template, you need to buy Zyro’s plan that starts at $1.99/month.

As to access eCommerce functionality, it’s necessary to upgrade to one of Zyro’s eCommerce plans, ranging from $8.99 to $13.99 per month.

3. Noisa (WordPress)

Noisa is a premium WordPress theme suitable for producers, DJs, and music agencies.

It offers a great user experience with continuous music playback, three different landing page options to best suit your style, and easy navigation.

Connect to popular streaming platforms such as SoundCloud and Google Drive, showcase your playlist, and let fans comment on their favorite songs through the Disqus commenting plugin.

Feel free to sell tickets and merch with the fully-supported WooCommerce plugin.

The music producer template itself costs $59 which includes 6 months of customer service, and useful integrations like MailChimp and social media.

This theme can really be really powerful, but I’d recommend this theme for someone with technical knowledge.

4. Waverly (Squarespace)

For musicians who like a little more subtlety, look no further than the minimalistic music producer template Waverly by Squarespace.

As with everything by Squarespace, this web design is very image-based. It features a photo gallery that resembles an Instagram grid, perfect for a tech-savvy audience.

It invites site visitors to sign up to your site right away, to ensure you’re building your email list.

Waverly doesn’t include a track player or call-to-action buttons right off the bat, but these features can easily be added using the drag and drop builder.

You can use this template for free when you sign up to one of Squarespace’s plans which start at $12 per month.

5. Deejee (HTML)

Deejee is an HTML website template that has a smooth parallax scrolling effect and interactions to give it a modern feel.

The website has a big focus on events and news updates, making Deejee perfect not only for music producers but labels or music venues that want to interact with their fan base too. The highlight for the events page is the ability to watch live streams right from the site.

It’s got blocks for a playlist, fan testimonials, social media, and newsletter subscriptions. Everything a producer needs to hook listeners in.

What’s great about this template is it’s completely free, but you just have to keep the credits in the footer.

6. NextUp (Webflow)

Going further, let’s take a look at the NextUp music template by Webflow.

This stunning website template will make any visitor want to stay on your site for a while.

Visitors can listen to your latest music albums, watch videos of your latest projects, and browse the merch catalog.

It’s packed with interactions and animations to give the site more dimension, and its easy navigation bar makes for a great user experience.

Webflow is also a powerful content management system, or CMS, which makes for simpler blogging.

NextUp doesn’t currently have an “About” page, but it can be easily added using the web editor.

Webflow markets this as “the last template you’ll need” if you’re a musician or a producer, and it’s clear to see why.

Premium features don’t come cheap though. This template costs $79, not including the monthly subscription to Webflow’s eCommerce plan which starts at $29 a month.

8. DJoz (Bootstrap)

DJoz for DJ or music producer websites takes on a modern and fresh feel on a music production site.

The site greets visitors with a large and impactful image that sets the tone for the rest of the website.

Visitors can play your music straight from the music player, watch videos using YouTube integration, and scroll through the events carousel to buy tickets to the next gig.

There’s also a nifty event countdown to prompt fans to take action.

This HTML theme includes an in-depth “About Me” page, buttons for email subscriptions, contact details, and purchasing your latest releases.

For a completely free template, DJoz certainly has everything you need for a producer or musician website. However, you’ll need to find your own web hosting.

Musician’s homepage has a call-to-action button to listen to your latest tracks, follow your social media, and share with friends.

The photo gallery is also organized like a grid for easier viewing, too.

Let fans book tickets to your upcoming gigs on the “Live” section, using the well-placed call-to-action buttons.

This web design simplifies the user experience by using a sticky navigation bar and a back-to-top button.

Melodi features interactions, animations, and sliders that can be customized to make for a more modern browsing experience.

Aside from having a ready-made audio player, it has an easy contact form to make it easier to build your email list.

The website lacks eCommerce functionality, however, it is possible to add that in yourself — some technical skill will be needed here.

Melodi is under the creative commons license, meaning it’s free but you’ll need to credit the author.

11. One Music (HTML)

One Music is an HTML template that has everything you need to attract site visitors.

The visual website includes a zoom-in slideshow as its homepage, immediately making your site look more professional.

It has perfectly placed call-to-action buttons that prompt visitors to take action, like the newsletter widget which captures emails, and the crucial “Download Now” button.

One Music is also SEO-friendly with optimized images for faster website speed.

I would suggest this theme for musicians who have a wide catalogue because you can organize different playlists to showcase your ability.

The fee of using this website is $19 per year. This price includes a single license of this template and a year of support and updates.

12. Musico (HTML)

This multi-page layout features sticky navigation, social media icons, a playlist, and a photo gallery to start.

Get personal with your supporters by starting a blog. Make this site your own by adding the pages you need.

Set the music player to play your latest tracks to truly let your site visitors immerse themselves in your art.

Right off the bat, it is a well thought out website template with fully responsive design, a music player, a coming soon page for upcoming events or releases, and various integrations.

It focuses on a neat and clean design, making the flow of the site very aesthetically pleasing.

eCommerce functionality is possible, but you’ll have to configure that yourself.

Muziq comes at a single-time fee of $17 and I’d suggest getting the 6-month customer support for an extra $4.88 in case you run into any trouble.

I’d recommend this theme for those who have more technical knowledge. This theme does not come with web hosting.
